TEACHING AND SUPERVISION
Anne Griebel is a Lecturer in Environmental Biology and has been teaching terrestrial ecology since 2013. She is experienced in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate subjects, including teaching and coordinating large first-year subjects. Having completed a Specialist Certificate in Teaching for Graduate Researchers at the University of Melbourne (First Class Honours), Anne has gathered ample experience in subject coordination, teaching in face-to-face, hybrid and online formats, developing and delivering new lectures, and in leading practical classes in the field, laboratory and computer lab, as well as organising field excursions.
Anne is currently coordinating the subjects 91123 Nature & Evolution and 91120 GIS and Remote Sensing at UTS. In addition, she has taught into a large diversity of subjects at the University of Technology Sydney, the University of Melbourne and Western Sydney University, including:
- Plant Physiology and Climate Change (UTS)
- Biodiversity Conservation (UTS)
- The Biosphere (UTS)
- Ecosystems in a Changing World (WSU)
- Australian Ecosystems: Threats and Solutions (WSU)
- Biological Adaptation to Climate Change (WSU)
- Environmental Monitoring and Assessment (WSU)
- Ecosystem Carbon Accounting (WSU)
- Trees and Climate Change (UoM)
