IMPACT SUMMARY

Dr Bahareh Berenjforoush Azar’s research advances practical, evidence-based solutions for a fair and effective energy transition. Her work provides actionable insights on energy-system performance, subsidy reform, and consumer outcomes, helping policymakers design transitions that are economically efficient and socially equitable. By integrating energy modelling with energy–water–food nexus analysis, she highlights cross-sector impacts often overlooked in policy design. Her contributions to energy literacy and digital engagement also support communities in understanding emerging technologies and participating confidently in the transition across Australia and the MENA region.
