DrCong Thanh Nguyen

Dr. Cong T. Nguyen received his B.Sc. from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (2014), M.Sc. from the Technical University of Berlin (2016), and Ph.D. from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia in 2023.  During his doctoral studies, he was a recipient of the UTS Collaborative Research Degree Program Scholarship and Vingroup Innovation Foundation (VinIF) Domestic PhD Scholarship from 2020 to 2022. At UTS, he was also awarded the Post-Thesis Scholarship in 2023 and recognized as an Outstanding Student of the School of Electrical and Data Engineering in 2022.

His research interests include generative AI, blockchain systems, federated learning, distributed computing, transfer learning, and scheduling. His work focuses on designing intelligent, secure, and resource-efficient systems for emerging networked environments.

He has published over 15 high-quality Q1 journal papers and 6 flagship IEEE conference papers, and is the author of 2 edited books published by Wiley and IET. He has actively contributed to the research community as a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member for major IEEE conferences and as a reviewer for several top-tier IEEE journals.
