MrDanny Yeung

Dr Danny Yeung is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at UTS Business School. He holds a PhD from the University of Technology Sydney and has published widely in leading academic journals, as well as top practitioner journals such as the Journal of Portfolio Management.

Danny has received competitive research funding from the Centre for International Finance and Regulation (CIFR) and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. His research examines how external factors — including investor emotions and economic uncertainty — drive asset mispricing, and how investment strategies can be designed to capitalise on it. This practical, markets-facing focus is what draws him to write for both academic and practitioner audiences.

His broader research interests include the role of institutional investors in price formation, quantitative equity strategies, funds management, superannuation, and empirical asset pricing.
