BIO

I am professor of forensic genetics in the Centre for Forensic Science. With a background in biochemical engineering (PhD, University of Sydney) and education (Diploma of Education, Western Sydney University), I applied my skills to forensic science in the forensic laboratories of the Australian Federal Police (AFP) in 2003.

Since then, I have held academic positions at the Australian National University, the University of Canberra and now at the University of Technology Sydney.
