FUNDED RESEARCH
His current investigation concentrates on Applied Medical Research and Cybersecurity using Deep Learning methods, especially in predicting drug response of tumours for precision medicine.
His continuing interest is on establishing infrastructure and mechanisms for real-time accessing, distribution of assistive healthcare data. He is also into establishing IT social and service models for engaging aging population.
His research has been on software-defined infrastructures (Software-Define Networks (SDN), Cloud, and Internet of Things (IoT) and on cybersecurity. His research projects focus on optimising resources in Cloud and 5G environments, developing software-defined architectures and protocols for provisioning IoT applications on demand, defining quantitative security metrics and exploring trust assessment models.
Currently he is available for research supervision (PhD, Masters research, and Capstone) in AI/deep learning for applied medical research, cybersecurity, and smart critical infrastructures.
