Donna's research draws from a range of conceptual resources, including, socio-material, public pedagogy, ecological, and practice-based theories. Donna’s research has involved studies of adult learning in various spheres, spanning from public spaces, community settings and workplaces, to public institutions and higher education. She has been the recipient of several research awards including a University Medal and an industry award for novel methodologies.
