Dr Gilad Francis is Program Director of Thrive: Finishing School Well at the Human Technology Institute, UTS. His research combines education, causal inference, Bayesian machine learning, and longitudinal data analysis to understand how children and young people develop, learn, and thrive. He leads collaborative research with universities, government, schools, and community partners to generate evidence that improves educational outcomes and wellbeing. His current work examines diverse pathways to thriving among young people and develops new methods for understanding heterogeneity in developmental and educational experiences.
