I am an Education-focused Academic in the Management Discipline Group at UTS Business School. I have had the awesome opportunity to engage in teaching and research for the past 25 years at universities across  Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Sweden, The Philippines and Vietnam.

My general research interest focuses mainly on the sustainable strategic choices and configurations of firms towards resilience in diverse institutional environments. I am fascinated to seek answers to the big question: "How do firms, such as small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in emerging and frontier economies, forge their strategic positions to effectively manage radical changes toward resilience and sustainability in a highly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) global environment?".    

My general teaching interests are in the areas of strategic perspectives of organisational change in the international business context and leveraging a broad range of organisational theories to understand the strategic configurations and performance of firms. I have designed and delivered undergraduate and postgraduate subjects in the fields of Strategy, Strategic Change Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, International Business and Organisational Theories.       

My previous professional engagements include various posts in both the private and public sectors (i.e. Commonwealth regulatory agency)  in Australia and New Zealand.

I sit on the editorial boards of Business Strategy and Environment and Business Strategy and Development - two world-leading journals in the Strategy and Sustainability domains today.
