Jack Cornish is a lecturer and registered nurse with a passion for teaching and learning. Jack's clinical background is in cardiothoracic intensive care, (where he maintains casual employment), and he currently works in a full-time continuing role at UTS.

Jack teaches widely across the undergraduate nursing curriculum at UTS. He coordinates foundational theory subjects and specialty critical care subjects within the Bachelor of Nursing. Jack also holds leadership roles within the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the Faculty of Health at UTS, wherein he serves as Assistant Course Director (BN) and First and Further Year Experience Coordinator respectively. 

Jack is currently completing a Doctor of Philosophy and his research interests include critical pedagogy, activism, planetary health and inclusive education. Jack is also very passionate about widening participation in higher education and works to support priority learners from diverse educational backgrounds to find entry into health degrees.
