Dr Macnamara AM is has a major commitment to research translation to create impact based on academic research. For example, he is an adviser to a number of major international organisations including the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communcation (AMEC) on evaluation methodologies for communication and the OECD Open Government, Civic Space, and Public Communcation unit on organisational listening by governments to create meaningful democracy and rebuild public trust.
