BIO
Josie is passionate about research that centres both people and the planet, aiming to create more equitable and sustainable futures by rethinking the ways we consume and interact with resources and systems.
She holds a double degree in Environmental Science and International Studies from UTS, which included an exchange year at Université Bordeaux Montaigne.
Over the past four years at the Institute for Sustainable Futures, UTS (ISF-UTS), she has worked across multiple roles. She began as an administrative assistant supporting the Resource Stewardship and Energy Futures teams, and now works as a researcher within those areas. She has applied a range of research methods to projects exploring sustainable resource use, circular systems, and just energy transitions. Josie is driven by opportunities to contribute positively to systems-level change through collaboration and evidence-based insights.
