Julie Kowald is a product and technology leader with deep expertise in product management, enterprise architecture, commercial R&D, and research translation. She specialises in turning complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives into scalable, high-value solutions across global research, development, and product environments.

Julie brings together enterprise architects, engineers, academic partners, product owners, and operational teams to deliver technologies with validated business value and measurable impact. She has secured and directed major commercial and government R&D programs across agriculture, crop quality, data visualisation, and defence training systems.

Recognised for translating cutting-edge research into enterprise-ready products, Julie has delivered machine-learning, human–computer interaction, mixed-reality, and AI-enabled decision systems, and holds 20 US and Australian patents.

She has led the architecture and development of AI and computer-vision systems for crop phenology, health monitoring, and yield forecasting, as well as business intelligence platforms used by agronomists, supply-chain leaders, and finance teams.
