BIO
Kailash is an Adjunct Fellow in Human-Centred Data Science at the Connected Intelligence Centre. He is also a Data and Insights Manager at a government agency. Over the last two decades he has established data and analytics capabilities in diverse organisations ranging from not-for-profits to multinationals. In addition, he has developed and taught courses in business analytics and decision making under uncertainty to students from widely varying backgrounds.
His current professional interests include business analytics, program evaluation, decision making under uncertainty and collaborative approaches to problem solving in large organisations.
He is the co- author of two well- regarded books on managing socially complex problems in organisations: "The Heretic’s Guide to Best Practices" and "The Heretic’s Guide to Management." His third book, "Data Science and Analytics Strategy: An Emergent Design Approach", describes a practical and principled approach to setting up modern data capabilities in organisations.
