Margarita’s PhD research explores how nonhuman charisma shapes affective interspecies relationships between lay naturalists and the animals they are drawn to. Focusing specifically on the Felidae (cats) family, Margarita is conducting a case study of the entanglements between Spanish naturalists and the charismatic Iberian lynx in the Southern Spain region of Andalusia.
