Marianne is a Casual Academic, teaching the subjects User Experience Research and Digital Innovation and Social Change.

Marianne has 20+ years’ experience in creative design, digital and blended learning, multimedia, accessibility, UX, marketing and communications. She has worked across federal and local government, technology, retail, fashion, energy, finance and education sectors, developing creative solutions across digital and physical formats, including campaigns, publications, events, out-of-home, video, animation, interactive content and multimedia learning programs. She has also experienced building development and design teams, introducing systems and processes to support efficient delivery, and managing large-scale creative and learning projects.

Her particular area of interests include designing for accessibility and inclusion, and appropriate use of emerging technologies, including AI, in production and development processes to improve quality and efficiency.

Currently in the process of completing postgraduate studies in Education.
