Nariman Khorsandiardebili is a Ph.D. Candidate in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, specializing in Transportation Geotechnics since September 2023. He holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Geotechnical Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, with a thesis on "Seismic Analysis of Geocell-Reinforced Slopes". His academic achievements include being honored as the top graduate and receiving awards for his academic excellence.

Nariman has a notable background in academic and professional experiences, including working as a University Lecturer teaching Soil Mechanics, a Research Assistant in a geotechnical research group, and as a Geotechnical Designer handling projects related to slope stabilization, retaining walls, and foundations. He has also served as a Civil Engineer in various other roles involving structural design and supervision in the field of civil engineering.

He has published research papers on the static and internal seismic stability analysis of geocell-reinforced slopes and a number of under-review research papers covering topics such as slope stability, unsaturated soils, and ground improvement.

In addition to his academic and professional endeavors, he is actively involved in voluntary works as a reviewer for journals of Geotechnical Engineering and Environmental Earth Sciences, a member of the Technical Committee for the Standard of "Design Loads on Non-Building Structures," and as the General Executive of the Persian Society board at the University of Technology Sydney.
