Teaching Philosophy:

My commitment to teaching is driven by a desire to engage students with complex topics such as Spain’s historical and cultural transformations, contemporary social movements, and critical theory. Drawing on years of research and academic experience, I aim to:

  1. Connect course content to students’ own experiences, ensuring that learning is both relevant and meaningful.
  2. Equip students with the analytical tools needed to critically engage with course material and effectively communicate their insights.

I strive to create a classroom environment that values diverse perspectives, fosters respectful dialogue, and encourages an open exchange of ideas. My approach prioritises individualised learning and a sense of community, where each student feels their voice is heard and their contributions are valued.
