BIO

Dr. Osama Sohaib is an Adjunct (Visiting) Fellow at the School of Computer Science, UTS, where he supervises Ph.D. and Master’s research in business information systems, digital transformation, and applied machine learning. Before this, he was a full-time lecturer (Assistant Prof..) from 2016 to 2022. With 50+ publications (3000+ Google Scholar citations) in top-tier journals (Q1 and Q2) and conferences (HICSS, PACIS, AMCIS, etc.), his work focuses on enhancing digital services through ethical, data-driven solutions.

 

Key Leadership & Roles

    • Lecturer (full-time) at UTS (2016-2022), teaching and research in Information Systems. 
    • Program Coordinator at UTS (2018–2022): Led the Master of IT (Business IS) and Master of IS degrees for advising students. 
    • Multi-disciplinary Educator: Taught at Macquarie University (Global MBA), UNSW Sydney (Business Analytics), and Victoria University, blending technical and business perspectives.
