It is a remarkable experience to watch a television show without consciously realising up to half is in another language; in Vida’s case, Spanish. This compelling series, which recently debuted on Stan, featuring two sisters (played by Mishel Prada and Melissa Barrera) who return to their old neighbourhood in Los Angeles when their mother dies, switches between these languages from one moment to the next.
