Dr Rachel Bolton is the HDR Officer in the Law Faculty Research Office. She brings to the role her experience in completing a PhD herself in the UTS Law Faculty, which she completed in 2020. With her unique insights into both reserach administration and the joys and trials of PhD research, Rachel is provides accurate, timely and detailed advice to HDR students, supervisors and the HDR Director on higher degree research administration.

Rached also has experience in digital archives research and the history of civil procedure in the British Empire 1800-1850, gained through her role as Research Manager (2020-2022) to Prof Shaunnagh Dorsett on the ARC Discovery Project: Colonial Innovations, the Foundations of Civil Justice in Australia.
