Sabina is a social researcher and educator with extensive expertise in qualitative research and meaningful community engagement. Her work spans a broad range of sectors, including entrepreneurship, small business, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, disadvantaged and at-risk populations, public policy, education, health, aged care, disability, and climate change.

Since June 2024, Sabina has been seconded to the Central Research Office. Initially appointed as a Business Research Engagement Associate, she supported academic staff in identifying tender opportunities and building their capacity to secure competitive funding. She is currently acting as the Business Research Engagement Manager for AgTech, where she leads strategic initiatives that connect UTS researchers with industry partners, fostering impactful collaborations and driving innovation.

Sabina holds a PhD from the University of Birmingham, where her doctoral research explored the role of cultural capital and religious diversity in shaping entrepreneurial practices. Her qualitative study focused on small and medium-sized ethnic minority-owned businesses, with particular attention to how religious capital influences business decision-making and operations.
