Dr. Samir Ghannam is a senior lecturer in accounting at UTS Business School. His research interests are in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, director labour market, and board gender and cultural diversity. He has published in a number of peer-reviewed journals, including FT50 journals, such The Accounting Review and Contemporary Accounting Research. He has previously been a visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Bocconi University and HEC Paris. Samir’s work has been cited in a number of media outlets including Forbes. Samir has taught at the postgraduate and undergraduate level in introductory accounting, consolidation accounting and currently focuses on business valuation analysis.
