Her research focuses on the development of intelligent, simulation-based decision-support tools that enhance the efficiency, adaptability, and sustainability of manufacturing systems.

Dr. Alvandi’s work integrates simulation–optimisation, operations research, and digital readiness frameworks to support the transition toward Lean 4.0 and data-driven manufacturing.
