BIO
Thomas is a postdoctoral researcher in the Hyphenated Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, investigating the conjugation of metal-containing tags to antibodies. His PhD focused on the imaging of elemental manganese in brain tumours, to assess potential radio-resistance.
Thomas is at the forefront of analytical chemistry, specialising in single-event, mass spectrometry imaging diagnosistics and cheminfomatics. This research combines high-resolution mass spectrometry, laser ablation and liquid chromatography for a multidisciplinary approach to environmental and biological research problems.
