FUNDED RESEARCH

Robinson's 2019 doctorate titled 'Soma Poiesis: An exploration of the redirective potential of somatic experiences in fashion' was a practice-based exploration of embodiment in fashion. The research investigated the processes of sartorial embodiment in fashion by undertaking close readings of micro-corporeal movements of the dressed body using digital technology. Current research encompasses publication across both non-traditional research outcomes as well as scholarly publishing with a focus on the development of practice oriented methods, approaches and frameworks for the exploration of embodied experience.
