BIO

Yuan Zhang is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. She is now working on PFAS transport within landfill clayey liners. She majors in Geotechnical Engineering for her Ph.D., and Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering for her Bachelor's degree.
Research interests include PFAS transport and fate, waste disposal barrier systems, soft soil improvement techniques, numerical modelling, water resources management, site investigations, and Geotechnical laboratory experiments.
