BIO

Eva engages in cross-cultural and inclusive teaching and research, focusing on the sociotechnical impact and responsibility of engineers and technical professionals. More broadly, Eva actively collaborates on social justice and community engagement in STEM (gender) diversity and humanitarian engineering, including with the IEEE and Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Australia. Previous to her current role, she was Director of Transnational Education, and Director of Women in Engineering and IT in the Faculty.

Her technical research background is in multimedia signal processing - speech and audio signal processing and computer vision. Collaborative research projects focus on cross-disciplinary collaborations with musicians, visual artists, architects, and non-profit organisations. She is a member of the UTS Perceptual Imaging Lab (PiLab) and Centre for Audio, Acoustics and Vibration.
