The Trustworthy Digital Society

Summary

The Trustworthy Digital Society (TDS) is a co-collaboration between the University of Technology Sydney and the University of New South Wales. The TDS aims to bring together experienced voices from all disciplines and areas of study, as well as communities and organisations of differing backgrounds to develop multi-disciplinary, world leading, collaborative research regarding digital trust.

We aspire to facilitate the creation of a digitally enabled society that is equitable, inclusive, and sustainable where everyone can participate fully, safely and confidently in the digital world.

Our goals to build a more trustworthy digital society include but are not limited to:

·        developing new research,

·        acting as a trusted resource and network of experts,

·        eliciting changes in policy, knowledge and understanding, and best practice regarding digital trust and safety.

The TDS is also a centre of innovation, working with researchers, technologists, and policymakers to develop new technologies and practices that prioritise privacy, security, and ethical considerations.
