BIO

Dr. Jun Li obtained his PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of Western Australia and worked two years at the University of Adelaide as research associate before joining the University of Technology Sydney. 

Dr. Li has authored one monograph, two book chapters, over 140 refereed journal papers, 20+ refereed conference papers, and 10+ technical and industry reports. His publication strategy balances academic advancement—through peer-reviewed research in structural dynamics and UHPC materials—with real-world impact via industry reports.

His research has been supported by the Australian Research Council (ARC) and local and international industry partners. He currently leads five ARC-funded projects, including an ARC Future Fellowship (2024), two ARC Linkage Projects (2023 and 2024), one ARC Discovery Project (2021), and one ARC LIEF project (2025), securing over $1.8 million in ARC funding. He also leads several industry-funded initiatives, including two SmartCrete CRC projects (2024), with more than $800,000 in additional funding.

He is currently seeking PhD students with a background in structural analysis and dynamics, offering full scholarships to qualified candidates.
