I bring extensive leadership experience across Local Health Districts, University Schools, and the Ministry of Health. My research drives improvements in person-centred public mental healthcare, enhancing the experiences of people with lived experience, their carers, and the mental health nursing workforce. This work shapes nursing education and workforce development across industry, academia, and international settings. My commitment to person-centred care also extends to the experience of students, including research on the needs of under-served student groups. In parallel, my global health research strengthens nurses' capacity to influence upstream social determinants of health, informing curricula, policy, and professional development that equip nurses to lead, advocate, and innovate.
