Patrick Lenta's research interests are situated in the fields of jurisprudence, applied ethics, transitional justice, constitutional law and 'law and literature'. He is the author of a monograph, Corporal Punishment: A Philosophical Assessment (Routledge, 2018). At present his research focuses on the jurisprudence and ethics of punishment and forbearing punishment.
