BIO

Dr Quan Nguyen is a lecturer in Mechatronics at the University of Technology Sydney. He received the PhD degree in electrical engineering from the Queensland Quantum and Advanced Technologies Research Institute, Griffith University, in 2021. In 2017, he got his M.Sc. degree in Mechanical & Aerospace engineering from the University of Missouri, USA.  Dr Quan has focused on advanced sensing effects in nanostructure & semiconductor materials, MEMS sensors & actuators, sensor networks for smart cities and harsh environments. He has authored and co-authored over 30 publications with high impact factor journal papers, mostly in the top 10% journal (according to Scopus). In addition to his academic work, Dr Quan has made significant contributions to industry, providing technological consultancy services to various companies in Australia and Korea including Dentroid, Geoinventions, and Samsung.
