Sarah Mould (she/her) is a writer and PhD candidate at the University of Technology Sydney. Her research investigates the representation of fat women in literary science fiction. Sarah has been published in Excessive Bodies and Creative Matters. She is proud to be the winner of the 2025 Australasian Association of Writing Programs (AAWP) Postgraduate Paper Scholarly Prize, runner-up in the UTS 3-Minute Thesis Finals, guest editor for Creative Matters Edition 11, a finalist for the Monash Prize at the Emerging Writers’ Festival, and shortlisted for a B&T Award for Diversity. Alongside her research, Sarah is a Casual Academic at UTS teaching undergraduate students, and a Senior Creative in an independent advertising agency.
