Dilshan Sonnadara is a PhD researcher in Data Science at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), working within the Complex Adaptive Systems Lab and the ARC Research Hub for Digital Bioprocess Development. His research focuses on automated feature engineering, interpretable machine learning, and data-driven approaches for monitoring complex bio-processes.

More broadly, his research interests span automated machine learning, explainable AI, machine learning for streaming environments, and the application of artificial intelligence to scientific and industrial problems.
