BIO
Dongfang Li is a PhD candidate in chemistry at the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney. His research focuses on advanced energy storage and conversion technologies, particularly CO₂ electroreduction and water-splitting electrolysis, with an emphasis on integrating Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and their derivatives as functional materials. He has developed specialized expertise in synchrotron-based characterization techniques, including in-situ X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS) and Powder Diffraction (PD), as well as Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) and complementary in-situ/operando characterization methods.
