MrMangesh Kulkarni

Mangesh Kulkarni is a PhD candidate at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), with a strong background in pharmaceutical research and industry. Prior to commencing his doctoral studies, Mangesh worked as a formulation scientist at a leading biotechnology company, in India, where he played a key role in the formulation and process development of human vaccines. His work primarily focused on parenteral and pulmonary vaccine delivery systems, contributing to innovative approaches in immunization. He gained substantial hands-on experience in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environments, enhancing his skills in compliant and high-quality product development.

Mangesh holds a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) degree with a specialization in Pharmaceutics from Lovely Professional University (LPU), India, where he developed expertise in advanced drug delivery systems and formulation science. He completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) at GITAM University, India, building a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences.

Currently, at UTS, Mangesh is involved in research focusing on the development and in vitro evaluation of phytoceutical and biologically-derived formulations for the treatment of respiratory diseases such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and respiratory-related cancers.
