MrsMarzieh Dehghan Niri

Marzieh is a PhD candidate at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) within the School of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering. With a foundational background in Mechanical Engineering, she has strategically transitioned her research focus toward Environmental Sustainability in Manufacturing. Her current doctoral work develops digital tools for Industrial Symbiosis (IS), aimed at bridging the implementation gap in the NSW Food and beverage industries.

As a dedicated Research and Teaching Assistant, Marzieh is recognised for her collaborative approach, frequently leading interdisciplinary projects across various UTS faculties and engaging directly with industry partners. Beyond technical excellence, she is a strong advocate for student mental health and wellbeing, prioritising a supportive, inclusive, and friendly environment for her students.
