BIO
Monica Rouvellas holds a Juris Doctor(UNSW), a MBA (UTS) and a Bachelor of Music (1st Class Honours)(USyd). Monica has been teaching the Faculty of Business and Economics at Macquarie University since 2013, the Department of Communications at UTS since 2018, and the Faculty of Law since 2019, the Sydney University Business School since 2019, and the UNSW Business School since 2019.
Monica is currently completely her PhD at UTS in the area of music education and computer science. Her research is currently looking at ways technology can be integrated in student instrumental music learning.
Monica's teaching interests include: music business, entrepreneurship, international business, management, business structures, intellectual property and taxation.
Rouvellas' research areas include: self-regulated learning, music technology in education, creeping acquisitions, corporate insolvency, CGT, multichannel composition and sound design.
Monica is also a solicitor and holds a current practicing certificate in NSW. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2018.
