BIO

Paulo entered the PhD Program in April 2024 under Supervisors Professor Dr. Andrew Ferguson, Dr. Peter Lam, and Dr. Gabriel Pündrich (University of Florida). Thesis title: Mandatory long-term management forecast and legal institutional risk: evidence from mining feasibility studies. Paulo is a certified accountant in Brazil, researching and teaching in the areas of accounting and finance. Currently, he’s a research affiliate at Fucape Business School and a partner at Intelethos Ltd., a consultancy firm specializing in firm valuation and accounting. He has multiple publications in Brazilian and in International journals. His current Ph.D. at UTS explores corporate reporting, i.e., feasibility studies, in the mining industry.
