FUNDED RESEARCH

My research sits at the intersection of hydrogen energy, high-pressure vessel engineering, and machine learning.

The core question I'm working on is how to make hydrogen refuelling faster and safer without relying on expensive, time-consuming CFD simulation for every design decision.

Fast-filling a hydrogen tank generates heat quickly, manage that badly and you either damage the vessel or waste time filling too conservatively.

My current thesis builds machine learning surrogate models that replace that expensive simulation step, trained on physics-based data rather than black-box guesswork.
