BIO

Shuvra Debnath is a dedicated researcher with expertise spanning biotechnology, reproductive biotechnology, genetics, molecular biology, and molecular dynamics. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the School of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), where his research focuses on the molecular-level effects of nanoplastic particles on the lung surfactant monolayer—an emerging area of environmental and respiratory health concern.

Since 2013, Shuvra has also served as a faculty member in the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics at Bangladesh Agricultural University, contributing to both teaching and research in genetic diversity, molecular techniques, and applied reproductive technologies. His academic journey reflects a strong interdisciplinary approach, combining computational tools with experimental biology to investigate complex biological systems.

With a growing interest in computational biophysics and simulation-based research, he aims to further explore the potentials of molecular dynamics simulations to understand biomolecular interactions and contribute to the development of solutions in environmental biotechnology and respiratory health. Passionate about collaborative research and knowledge dissemination, Shuvra continues to seek opportunities to expand his impact in both academic and applied biosciences.
