My PhD involves identifying how a sense of belonging can promote academic achievements. I am working with multiple platforms such as OnTask, and Large Language Models, which help to infer a sense of affective engagement and belonging from student artefacts and inform pedagogical practices. Discovering indicators of a sense of belonging through some off-the-shelf programs and LLMs will help provide some pertinent insights that can be adapted to pedagogical practices.
