DrAnna Lidfors Lindqvist

Supervision: Open to supervise Capstone students. 

Anna is the Course Coordinator for 41059 Mechanical Design Fundamentals Studio 1, guiding Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering students through their first studio experience. The course emphasises practical application of theoretical skills, using Agile-inspired 3-week formative sprints to foster student engagement and iterative improvement.

From 2021 to 2023, Anna led advanced curriculum development in the School of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering. She standardised the delivery of new subjects, creating a coherent course structure, and designed, advised, and managed changes in individual subjects. She also integrated sustainable engineering principles and net zero emission concepts into project assessments.

Recognised for her excellence in teaching, Anna received the UTS Vice-Chancellor’s Learning and Teaching: Early Career Teaching Award.
