FUNDED RESEARCH

Bridget's research explores how collaborative design approaches can support organisational and societal change in real-world settings. Working in partnership with government, industry, community organisations and universities, she leads applied design research that investigates complex challenges in areas including education, health, social justice, public services, the built environment and the future of work. Her projects have included futures research with young people and the property sector, participatory research into university responses to sexual violence, service and experience design in healthcare, organisational and cultural change within educational institutions, and user experience research to improve information services. Alongside this applied work, she researches professional design practice and design education, examining how designers develop the capabilities needed to address complex organisational and societal challenges.
