DrKate Hadfield

Prior to starting at CHERE, Kate was Associate Director of Health Economics (2023-2024) and Senior Health Outcomes Associate (2015-2023) at SYNEVi, an independent consultancy providing services in market access, health economics, health outcomes and pricing to the healthcare industry. Kate also worked as a Health Outcomes Analyst at PRIMA Consulting (2012-2015). Her last research position was as Postdoctoral Researcher at The Heart Research Institute, Sydney (2009-2012). Throughout her work Kate has demonstrated a strong commitment to achieving access to health care for Australian patients. Kate has a Masters in Health Economics (Deakin University, 2019) and completed her PhD in Reproductive Immunology through the University of Sydney at the Kolling Institute of Medical Research (2009). She completed a Bachelor of Medical Science (2003) with Honours (2004) through the University of Technology, Sydney.
