FUNDED RESEARCH

Marina’s research interests span innovation policy, ecosystems, innovation-driven entrepreneurship, and supply chains in spatiotemporal clusters and digital networks. Her work is increasingly situated at the intersection of technology and geopolitics, with a particular focus on industrial policy, techno-nationalism, and the dynamics of global research collaboration amid great power competition. Empirically, she examines sectors including semiconductors, critical minerals, smart manufacturing, and the digital economy in China, and analyses how these technological trajectories and policy choices shape Australia–China relations and the broader international order.
