DrNajmeh Hassanli

Najmeh’s teaching is grounded in authentic, experiential and student-centred learning. She creates opportunities for students to apply their learning to real-world challenges, develop professional capabilities, and engage meaningfully with industry and community organisations. Her teaching draws on live organisational projects, industry and community partnerships, and authentic assessment, including collaborations with UTS Shopfront and external partners to bring genuine organisational challenges into the classroom. She is also committed to inclusive and responsive teaching, using student feedback and evidence to continually refine curriculum, assessment and learning experiences.

Najmeh teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate event and management education and is Program Director of the Master of Event Management. She has taught and coordinated subjects including Managing for Social Impact (21698 - Capstone), Event Promotion and Sponsorship (21650), Principles of Event Marketing (21930), The Tourist Experience (21659), and Current Challenges in Tourism (21634 - Capstone).
