TEACHING AND SUPERVISION

Paulina Larocca is an educator whose teaching reimagines creativity as a relational, embodied, and systemic practice. She leads and co-designs innovative subjects across the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation (BCII), the Diploma of Innovation, and the Master of Creative Intelligence and Strategic Innovation (MCISI) at UTS’s TD School.

She is the subject lead and original designer of Leading Creative Innovation, a core subject in the Diploma of Innovation, where she replaced lectures with multisensory, team-based learning grounded in her doctoral research. She also co-coordinates the Worldbuilding Studio (MCISI) with Dr Barbara Doran, an immersive, transdisciplinary intensive developed with industry partners, and has contributed original content to Creative Practices and Methods and other foundational subjects. Across these courses, Paulina teaches over 150 students per session and has received consistently high student feedback.

Paulina currently supervises Honours and PhD students working at the intersection of creativity, storytelling, and more-than-human design. Her pedagogical approach draws on somatic methods, speculative inquiry, and post-disciplinary frameworks to cultivate future-focused, ethically grounded innovation.
