BIO
Sofia Haidar is the incoming Deputy Director, Research Operations and Development (RODe) in the UTS Research Office. She provides strategic and operational leadership across services that enable researchers to develop, fund and deliver high-quality research, while supporting effective governance and responsible research practice. Supported by an exceptional team, her portfolio encompasses researcher development, funding, research contracts, risk and compliance, integrity and security, ethics, research systems, prizes and awards, communications, and research translation and impact.
Her teams supply high-quality, specialist support across the research lifecycle.
They work collaboratively with colleagues in the Research Partnering Team.
